Latest Updates from Wolves FPA
A very sad time for all connected with Wolves Former Players’ Association and the club in general with the loss in successive weeks of close pals Phil Parkes and Mike Bailey.
‘Lofty’ was a fantastic Wolves goalkeeper, making 382 appearances between the sticks, whilst Mike chalked up 436 and was the inspirational captain in the 1974 League Cup triumph.
As our picture shows, both also played influential roles within the FPA, Lofty on the committee right up until his passing, and Mike as chairman for many years.
Sincere condolences to the family and friends of two true Wolves legends.
