A very sad time for all connected with Wolves Former Players’ Association and the cub in general with the loss of Phil Parkes, at the age of 79.
‘Lofty’ was not only a true Wolves legend thanks to his 382 appearances on the pitch, but also became such a powerful force in charity and community work following his retirement.
Pictured here at his 75th birthday celebrations, he was a key member of the FPA committee for many years, and we will all miss him dearly.
Sincere condolences to all of Lofty’s family and friends.
